Beck X Bedlamb Carmen (Feb. 2013) **Outside Breeding**
Carmen (left) is very talented bitch that belongs to my good friend and fellow handler, Terri Chisman. Carmen's pedigree goes back to several Kuykendall dogs, Tom Forester's Bud, and Kay Sander's Quest. Due to a combination of unfortunate events, this breeding only produced a single live puppy.
Bedlamb Calcifer (aka Fer) was born Feb. 23, 2013. Both Terri and I were very surprised to see a red puppy; it was quite unexpected. The puppy will be staying with Terri and I will continue to post updates about Fer as he ages and begins his training and trialing career.
Update 4/2016: Calcifer has really started to mature out into a promising dog. He is showing a lot of the same traits possessed by his father and is taking on his training as a stock dog with enthusiasm. He will be a dog to watch out for in the future.
Update 5/2017: Calcifer will be making his Open debut this Fall.
Update 10/2018: Calcifer is doing well in USBCHA Open Sheepdog trials. He has also been competing in AHBA trials with success. Calcifer is a very talented dog, just like his sire.
