Dixie Meadows is a working farm located in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. This farm is home to Carol Calhoun, a USBCHA Open level handler and trainer for more than 30 years.
The farm features multiple smaller arenas, two round pens, and a large (10+ acre) field for larger outruns and trial fields.
Carol hosts AHBA and USBCHA Trials at her farm in Elizabeth City, NC. Dixie Meadows is currently the only location in the Southeast Virginia/Northeast North Carolina area offering the (AHBA) HTD field for hoofstock.
Carol breeds, raises, trains and trials Border Collies. If you are looking for a dog, she is a great resource to find what you are looking for. If she can not help you in house, she can certainly refer you to what is available and will suit your needs.
